对于更快类型的应用，可以使用全系列内置中断来轻松实现实时控制。 提供定时、通信、高速计数器、高速脉冲输出和硬件中断功能，并且实施优先级表意味着可同时执行所有中断。
内置了与 S7-200 的通信功能。可通过长达 1200m 、具有多达 126 个节点的双线网络实现 PLC 之间通信。 在“自由端口”模式中，PLC 的 RS-485 端口以自由 ASC11 模式运行，这使其可与其他设备进行通信。
